Last month, The Ice King, a documentary on the great John Curry, produced by the BBC, came to NYC. It was directed by James Erskine and produced by Victoria Gregory. That night was a bittersweet occasion as we remembered our dear, beloved colleague John, who stood above all others on the ice in his vision of what skating could be.
I recently visited several schools in and near my hometown of Madison, NJ. The principals and teachers wanted me to share my Olympic experiences (from 1968 & 1972) with the kids. Olympian and Canadian Champion Linda Carbonetto Villella and Edward Villella invited us to their gorgeous art filled NYC brownstone for dinner!
